Cadets get the opportunity to learn and familiarize themselves with the aviation world through Aerospace Education. Cadets also get the opportunity to take five free front seat orientation flights where they can actually pilot the aircraft. Along with free orientation flights, cadets can take advantage of the various flight academies CAP has to offer. At these flight academies cadets may get the opportunity to solo the aircraft type of their choice (Powered, Glider, Hot Air Balloon). On top of these hands on flying experiences, cadets are required to pass an Aerospace test for most achievements in order to promote.
